What are Barco CarePacks?
Service contracts for control rooms reduce the risk of downtime, because critical systems are not only looked at once they have already stopped. Regular maintenance, inspection, cleaning, firmware and function checks keep video walls, KVM and visualisation secure during live operation.
Barco CarePacks are maintenance and support service packages that go beyond the standard warranty. They secure the uptime of Barco video walls and Barco CTRL through defined response times, preventive maintenance and access to spare parts.
Services included in a service contract
- Preventive maintenance – inspection, cleaning, calibration and software updates

Frequently asked questions about Barco CarePacks and service contracts
What is the difference between Barco CarePacks and a controlrooms service contract?
Barco CarePacks cover Barco hardware directly through the manufacturer. A controlrooms service contract covers the entire control room infrastructure with a single point of contact.
When is a service contract worthwhile?
For all mission-critical environments where downtime has direct operational consequences. A service contract reduces unplanned downtime and extends system life.
How quickly does controlrooms respond in the event of a fault?
Response times depend on the service level chosen. For an individual SLA, contact Erich Strasser at erich.strasser@controlrooms.at.
Can existing installations be included in a service contract?
Yes. After an as-is analysis, a tailored service contract can be concluded – including for older installations.
